Harrisville, New Hampshire Harrisville, the brick village sited between two ponds on the rushing Nubanusit River is one of the best preserved New England mill towns and has been declared a National Historic Landmark. Its former woolen mills now house Harrisville Designs, which teaches a variety of textile arts, and artist studios and galleries. Harrisville children attend the local elementary school until grade six. Older students attend Keene Middle School and Keene High School. Population: 1,107 |
