Having grown up in a family where his mother was a real estate broker, Richard has always had an interst in the business. After graduation from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, he received his Massachusetts real estate license, but was rerouted by a career in retail. After graduation from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, he received his Massachusetts real estate license, but was rerouted by a career in retail. Richard's background in the retail industry includes executive management positions for Eastern Mountain Sports, The Gap, The Pottery Barn, Crane & Co. Inc., and Iparty Corporations. Richard relocated to Peterborough in 1987 to work for Eastern Mountain Sports where he was Vice President of Merchandising Operations. He has now returned to real estate with a broad and varied business experience.
